President Dr. Arif Alvi presents with the digitalization of the state media organizations at an event in Pakistan. Under the Project, state media organizations including the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, and Digital Media Wing (DMW) will digitize.

State-owned media firms will go digital.

The Digital Transformation of State Media (DTSM) project, inaugurated by the information and broadcasting department, includes; Directorate of Electronic Media and Publication (DEMP) and service ads. DMW will focus on strengthening its digital presence in Pakistan.

Under the Project, APP Digital will be fully operational and enhanced, PTV News will enter high definition (HD), Pakistan Radio will launch podcasts, and National Media University will focus on art, architecture, animation, and digital journalism. APP aims to strengthen its accessibility by providing customized news feeds and digital content to its subscribers and the general public.

The Radio Pakistan podcast provides official interviews, daily news updates, current news programs, documentaries, music, sports, and much more to inform, educate and entertain people. People can access Radio Pakistan podcasts on the website podcast.radio.gov.pk.

The National Digital Information Platform

Digital integration of news and other services will provide a highly enhanced user experience, improving the speed of news distribution and access. The scheme is part of the National Digital Information Platform (NDIP), which maintains the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan of Digital Pakistan.

President Highlighted the issue of Kashmir:

Speaking at the event, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the need for concerted efforts to record history to effectively respond to Islamophobia and forcibly on Jammu and Kashmir of India. The president said the Kashmir issue should be discussed “effectively” around the world. He also focuses on the need for fake news spread by Pakistan’s enemies. Arif Alvi also congratulated Information Minister Fawad on his efforts.

Focal Person to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Digital Media Dr. Arslan Khalid, also announced this on Twitter. While sharing photos, he wrote, “Everything is ready for the start of digital transformation in state media. Pakistani President Arif Alvi will be the guest of honor at the launch program.
