The highest-paid players in PSL 8: The 8-eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League PSL is set to begin in 14 days as the excitement for Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament is building. However, the tournament will feature top T20 stars worldwide, including World Cup finalists Pakistan and England. Considered one of the most prominent T20 franchises in the world, PSL features top Pakistani players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shadab Khan alongside international talents like Jason Roy and David Miller, Rashid Khan, Alex Hales, and Wanindu Hasaranga will also participate in the tournament.

Highest-paid players:

Per PSL rules, players are divided into categories based mainly on their quality and monetary value. Some players in the highest tier, the Platinum category, are set to earn a cap of $170,000 for participating in tournaments. However, Platinum category players that are available for the whole match will be able to make the full amount. In contrast, partially available players will earn on a pro-rata basis.

The following are the highest-paid players in PSL 8:

Superstars like Wanindu Hasaranga, Rovman Powell, David Miller, Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Alex Hales will not get full games as they will not be available for the entire match.

PSL 8 will begin on 13 February:

Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will begin PSL 8 on 13 February in Multan against Multan Sultans. However, the final of this competition will be held on 19 March in Lahore.
