Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the PSL 2021 will start from 20th February 2021 in Karachi and Lahore. Nadeem Khan, Director High-Performance Centre confirmed that many big Foreign Players will play in the PSL 2021 Draft.

Chris Gayle:

On Sunday afternoon, the Pakistan Super League 2021 Players Draft took place at the High-Performance Centre. The most prominent pick on this event was the name, Chris Gayle.

Chris Gayle (Age 41) played in Lahore Qalandars (2016) and Karachi Kings (2017). He has shown his interest again in playing in the most competitive and high-quality leagues in the world. Chris is a two-time ICC Men’s T20 World Cup winner with a most remarkable and outstanding career in T20 i.e., 411 matches, 13,584 runs, the top score of 175 (Not out), strike-rate 146.72, 22 centuries,85 half-centuries,1001 sixes, and 80 wickets with 7.64 economy rate.

David Malan:

In the PSL 2021 Draft, England’s number 1 ranked David Malan is also included along with his fellow players Moeen Ali, Tom Banton, and Chris Jordan. But due to their International Commitment availability will be limited.

David Miller and Morne Morkel:

David Miller and Morne Morkel, a famous South Africa’s duo, along with another leading South Africa cricketer Dale Steyn, have been entered in the PSL 2021 Draft. They are hoping to be picked up by one of the franchises to make their debut performance.

Some of the Foreign Players included in the draft are as follows:

  • Afghanistan – Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, and Rashid Khan
  • Australia – Chris Green, Fawad Ahmed, Dan Christian, James Faulkner, and Chris Lynn
  • Bangladesh – Anamul Haque, Mahedi Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mahmudullah, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed
  • England – Jake Ball, Moeen Ali, Tom Banton, Ravi Bopara, Joe Denly, Ben Duckett, Lewis Gregory, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Samit Patel, Liam Plunkett and Phil Salt
  • Ireland – Andy Balbirnie, George Dockrell, Kevin O’Brien, Paul Stirling, and Gary Wilson

Apart from these many players from the Netherlands, Nepal, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe are included in the PSL 2021 Draft.
