Prime Minister Imran Khan alongside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan launched the Peshawar (BRT) project today.

PM Imran Khan said on Thursday that Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is the best transport project throughout the entire history of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said BRT will resolve the traffic issue.

He said the BRT Peshawar track is 27 km long, I praise Pervez Khattak on the achievement of BRT project.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Local Government Kamran Bangash stated that 360 bicycles for both men and women have been set out, other than buses, on the 27 km rapid transit (BRT) track.

Bangash included that this project would give help to individuals in the provincial capital regarding better transport.

Bangash also included that BRT transports were environmental-friendly and safe.

The main track is linked with seven different areas of the city so the individuals can travel from their regions in little buses to arrive at the main route.

The Rs70 billion BRT project comprises of a 27.5km main track and 31 stations while the length of the feeder route is 62km and has 146 stops.
