Cleanliness Campaign in Public Schools

In addition to the outdoor gym initiative, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training launched a comprehensive cleanliness campaign last month. This campaign targets public sector schools and colleges in Islamabad, which are regulated by the Federal Directorate of Education. The drive is part of a broader effort to ensure clean and hygienic learning environments for students.

Leadership and Participation

The campaign was initiated under the direction of Education Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, aiming to uphold cleanliness standards in educational institutions. The ministry assigned the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) to spearhead the Islamabad Model College for Boys (IMCB) I/8-3 campaign. A dedicated team of NCHD directors and departmental heads visited the school to participate in the cleanliness drive actively.

Expanding Health and Fitness Initiatives

Building on the momentum of the cleanliness campaign, the ministry plans to extend the outdoor gym initiative to more schools and colleges across Islamabad. This expansion will provide students with increased opportunities to engage in physical activities, ensuring they have accessible and engaging means to stay active and healthy. The ministry’s commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment underscores the importance of physical fitness as a cornerstone of student well-being.
