The latest entry-level smartphone from Redmi has swiftly made its way to Pakistan. Priced at Rs. 39,999, the Redmi 13 is an appealing option for budget-conscious consumers, offering robust specifications at an affordable rate.

Design and Display

You have to forego an AMOLED panel in this price range, but the Redmi 13 still features a 6.79-inch LCD with a 1080p resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate adjusts according to screen activity to conserve battery life.

The Redmi 13 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G91 Ultra chipset, which is reliable for everyday use. However, you may need to compromise on graphics quality in more demanding games. As a budget phone, it uses eMMC 5.1 storage, which is slower than UFS storage, making it less responsive than pricier models. Nonetheless, it has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which is ample. There is also a 256 GB variant available. For software, it runs on Android 14 with HyperOS, Xiaomi’s revamped MIUI replacement.

After a 60-minute charge, users can enjoy approximately 23 hours of talk time or 28 hours of music playback. A quick five-minute charge provides about two hours of talk time. The phone supports 33W fast charging, which can fully recharge the battery in just 62 minutes. As mentioned, the Redmi 13 is available in Pakistan for Rs. 39,999 in blue, black, gold, and pink options.

The Redmi 13 is now available for purchase online through Mistore, Corecart, Daraz, and Xiaomi’s sales platforms. It will also soon be available at retail outlets nationwide.
