Coronavirus Updates: Finance Minister Ensures the Covid-19 Vaccines Availability:

The Latest coronavirus updates show the shortage of vaccines in Pakistan. Shaukat Tarin, Finance Minister conducts an important session. In the meeting, he assures the availability of Coronavirus vaccination dosages all over the country. Regarding the coronavirus updates, Asad Umar, the leader of the National Command and operation center (NCOC) also attended the meeting.

Moreover, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistance to the Prime Minister, and Omar Ayub Khan, Federal Minister of Economic Affairs also attended the meeting. While addressing the meeting, NCOC’s Leader, Asad Umar says that the Federal Government is doing everything to maintain the regular supply of coronavirus vaccines.

“Moreover, all the countries are doing the same,” Asad added. In addition, NCOC’s leader says that Pakistan is facing a financial burden of revenues for the advanced supply of vaccines.

Pakistan Purchases a bulk amount of Covid-19 vaccines from China:

The National Institute of Health (NIH) says that Pakistan made several deals purchasing about 27.5 million China-made vaccination doses. In addition, according to the resources, Pakistan purchases the vaccination doses of Sinopharm, Sinovac, and CanSino under the vaccine attainment deals.

According to this deal, Pakistan purchases the raw material as well as the prepared vaccines from the agencies of China. As a matter of fact, Pakistan signs a deal with China in which it gets about 23 million vaccination doses of Sinopharm. This deal will continue till December 2021.

Besides Sinopharm, Pakistan signed a deal for the attainment of 2 million vaccination doses of CanSino Biologics and about 2.5 million doses of Sinovac from China. However, the latest Coronavirus updates say that there is a shortage of vaccination dosage in several vaccination centers of Punjab.
