Coronavirus vaccine for adult population:

The Sindh govt would purchase 20 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from China for its adult population. Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho held a gathering with Chinese Consul General Li Bijian and shared issues identified with buying of coronavirus vaccine, training of medical care providers, and providing health technology.

The health minister said they had mentioned the Chinese authorities to help Pakistan, particularly the Sindh government, in the arrangement of health facilities, improving the health area, and providing innovation in the field of medication.

China providing complete support to Pakistan

The Chinese consul general saying that he would talk with his administration about the exchange of health technology to Sindh and they offered their total help to the Sindh government.

Pakistan need more doses of vaccine

Dr. Pechuho said they had asked the Chinese consul general for 20 million doses of coronavirus vaccine as right now, frontline medical care workers are being vaccinated with China’s Sinopharm vaccine. The dosages accessible to the province are restricted so the vaccination drive must proceed with no interference to make the region protected from coronavirus.

Pakistan is planning to send doctors to China for training

Dr. Pechuho said wishing that bond among Pakistan and China in the field of medical sectors and health would develop as Sindh is planning to send doctors and paramedics from Sindh to China for training.

NCOC has been getting objections of wrong and irregularities in the organization of coronavirus vaccine by the Sindh govt because of which many strong yet random individuals have profited. According to objections, a few non frontline medical workers, some strong individuals, and their families were vaccinated in conspiracy with the authorities of local health divisions. As indicated by NCOC rules, the vaccine can’t be given to anybody for more than 60 years or under 18 years.
