After the US presidential election, Jo Biden as US President is going to have the inauguration in just a few days. Many opinion and several media reports have been wondering that among the world leaders, who will be attending the ceremony.

PPP Leaders invited to the ceremony:

During this time there have been many rumors circulating the media in Pakistan. Among such rumors, the news that the former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had been invited is going around on social media. PPP Senator Farhatullah Babar told the BBC that such rumors are false and Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto have not been invited to Biden’s inauguration.

The rumors spread like fire in the social media and all the television outlets quoted PPP sources that the Father-Son duo, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto have been invited to the Biden’s inauguration and they would be attending the ceremony.

To rest these rumors, PPP Senator Farhatullah Babar told the BBC Urdu that “The former president and the PPP chairman “have not been invited to the inauguration and are not attending the ceremony”.

Such rumors also circulated about Prime Minister India Manmohan Singh and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador which was later denied by both the parties.

Extremely limited Inauguration Ceremony:

The Inauguration Ceremony of Joe Biden is said to be held on 20th January 2021. In the Ceremony, Joe Biden will take an Oath and will take his place as the 46th President of the USA and formerly occupy the White House. Kamala Harris will also take an oath and take her position as Vice-President.

Due to the Corona Pandemic situation, the members of the Biden inauguration committee have said that they are not going to invite any foreign leaders and local Americans are also advised to watch the ceremony from their homes.
