Islamabad Police Launching WhatsApp Based Services

It is the first time in Pakistan’s history Islamabad police is launching WhatsApp-based services. However, the residents of Islamabad can now file complaints in Urdu and English via WhatsApp, and Islamabad Capital Territory Police will provide services and compliance with their complaints on WhatsApp. Moreover, citizens will send free text messages to 03342874287 from WhatsApp.

Announcement about the WhatsApp number:

The announcement about the WhatsApp number was made via the official Twitter account of the Islamabad police. However, the tweet contained a video message from Islamabad Inspector General of Police  Mohammad Ahasan Younus. He said, “To make our services more accessible to citizens, Islamabad Police released their WhatsApp number. Citizens can register with our 0334-4287-4287 0334-ICTP, by sending a simple hi/hello, “said IGP Younus.

Once citizens have registered, so they will receive menus of Islamabad police services.

To Provide good services :

IGP Younus said the ICTP connection to WhatsApp enables citizens to easily access all of its resources. He added that all the information and resources that an Islamabad citizen might need would be available in English and Urdu on WhatsApp.Moreover, the IGP went on to say that he hoped the people would appreciate the initiative as the ICTP continued to provide quality services.

More Details:

Send any message to 033-4287-4287 using WhatsApp messenger (033-ICTP-ICTP). The good thing is that messages to ICTP  WhatsApp services will be free of cost. Moreover, when a citizen approaches this number, the WhatsApp service will provide instructions, and we will need to select the appropriate option to proceed. IGP Islamabad urged citizens to follow the process of registering their services.
