FM Qureshi arrived in China to attend the second round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.

The first round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue occurred in March 2019 in which the two sides committed to save the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor from a wide range of dangers.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday showed up in China for a two-day official visit to go to the second round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.

The visit will do an important role in further building up Pakistan-China ‘All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership’ and develop strategic correspondence and coordination with China on a variety of issues.

FM Qureshi said he was going on a very important trip to China and that he had a conversation with Prime Minister Imran Khan before leaving. He further stated, I am confident that my meeting with Foreign Minster Wang Yi will end up being useful for the two nations.

FM Qureshi, who is joined by senior authorities, will lead the Pakistani delegation in the strategic dialogue.

FO said, during the dialogue, the two sides will talk about collaboration on Covid-19, two-sided relations and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
