Pakistan is mainly agricultural country for most of the parts are used in producing crops. But after some advancement, industries and other technology is put forward and making Pakistan first Islamic country to attain nuclear power.

Education is the foundation of every country and there is a famous quote said by Quid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah

There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen

but unfortunately Pakistan is unable to improve its literacy rate. The education system of Pakistan is getting lower day by day.

  • It promotes rot learning
  • Understanding and analysis is discouraged
  • Government schools and colleges are not maintained
  • Government teachers do not show up in their respective classes

Pakistan’s education is divided into three categories.

  1. Primary education
  2. Secondary education
  3. Tertiary education

Primary education:

Primary education normally known as kindergarten, nursery or play group.

In this stage children are taught basic principles. In Pakistan only 85 percent of children complete this education and the statistics fall with every stage.

Secondary education:

This stage starts from grade 9. This includes “SSC” (secondary school certificate) and “HSSC” (higher secondary school certificate). This stage is the most stressful as children go through notional examination.

Tertiary education:

This year 15 percent of Pakistanis graduated from universities. Tertiary education includes undergraduate’s programs, masters and PHD. Pakistani students go through a lot of pressure as the competition in universities is getting higher.  This increases suicide rate of the country.

Pakistan is now focusing on girls education as this population size is more than a man and had less literacy rate as compare to male education. There are several schools by NGOs and Govt in several parts of rural areas specially.
