PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal tested positive for Covid

PML-N Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday once more tested positive for coronavirus, virtually a year once he had 1st contracted the COVID-19. However, The PML-N leader, taking to Twitter, said: “I have once again tested positive for COVID and have gone into quarantine.”

Ahsan Iqbal appealed to people to pray for his recovery.

Iqbal urged people to pray for him and asked the crowd to wear masks and follow the government-approved COVID-19 SOP to keep the virus at bay.

Ahsan Iqbal had last tested positive for Covid-19 back in June 2020.  

The PML-N leader was last tested positive for coronavirus back in June 2020. The event comes days once PML-N spokesman Marriyum Aurangzeb had declared the party’s vice-president Maryam Nawaz had tested positive for coronavirus.

Maryam then isolated herself after being diagnosed with the disease, Aurangzeb said, while urging people to pray for the PML-N leader and other infected people. Later, the PML-N vice-president, in response to a tweet, said she was being treated at home and had symptoms such as “flu, cough, and fever.”

Pakistan’s COVID-19 crisis is getting worse

Pakistan’s war against coronavirus continues to deteriorate daily, with the country approaching 5,000 cases every Saturday morning. In keeping with the National Command and Operation Centre’s latest numbers, 4,950 recent infections were detected over the last twenty-four hours when 58,479 COVID-19 tests were conducted. Furthermore, the positive rate has reached 8.64%.
