'Koi bhooka na soye’ PM Imran Khan launches service for Poor Workers

Prime minister Imran Khan launched the ‘koi bhooka na soye (nobody should hit the bed hungry programme)’ on Wednesday, under which free food will be conveyed through a mobile food van to daily wage laborers. The only reason for the program was to give better nutrition to the workers.

The truck will provide food two times a day

The program ‘koi bhooka na soye falls under the bigger Ehsaas and will feature mobile food vans roaming significant cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad to provide freshly prepared food to every laborer two times per day.

PM Imran named the launch of the program the establishment of a welfare state. He said the mobile food vans would go to places frequented by poor people and workers in specific.

The most significant advantage of this program will be the everyday workers, who stay in large cities to earn and spend some cash back home.

The program will give benefits for everyday needy workers

PM said that such individuals live in the worst conditions, and now these mobile food vans will become the best step for their prosperity after the foundation of shelter homes. He said that the government’s attempts are ready at giving the poor segment of society respect.

He saluted the Ehsaas program and Bait-ul-Maal organization for the effective launch of the service. He further said that the government should keep on setting high requirements for serving poor people; thus, food should be observed and stay steady.

The government provide allowances for needy families

PM said that numerous humanitarian people have effectively communicated interest in giving financial help to the program. He added that the government would provide 30 million families with direct allowances. He said through the immediate allowance program, and they will buy essential food items like wheat flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, etc. Additionally, bring the same plan for the farmers to help them get fertilizers and other farming contributions on financed rates.
