PM Imran Khan has introduced a spring tree plantation drive titled Forest Restoration by planting a young tree at Kundian Mianwali.
Tending to the opening ceremony of Spring Tree Plantation Campaign in Mianwali on Sunday, he said the PTI-drove government is working away at the motivation of making Pakistan a prospering Islamic welfare country on the example of state of Madina.
Revealing light into the hugeness of the plantation, the prime minister said the legislature is intending to present a subject of Tree Plantation in the educational program the nation over. Imran Khan the youth has a significant task to carry out in making the tree plantation drive a prosperity.
He coordinated Punjab government to set up a deal to manage timber mafia, which are associated with gigantic chopping down of trees.
Imran Khan likewise cherishing attempts of the Punjab government in giving fundamental facilities of education, health and clean drinking water to masses. Prior, the prime minister initiated the plantation drive by planting a young trees at Kundian territory of Mianwali. Upon his appearance, the prime minister was informed on the spring tree plantation drive. He was joined by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Prior on Saturday, advisor to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam had said that 250 million trees will be planted in spring season under 10 billion tree tsunami program.
Conversing with journalists in Islamabad, Malik Amin said that these young trees would be planted the nation over as the afforestation exercises have been organized by the administration to handle fall outs of ‘global warming’.
