Prime Minister Educate Pakistanis about the Importance of Tree Planting:
Tree planting is one of the most important initiatives for the restoration of the ecosystem. In this regard, the Prime Minister’s office organizes a ceremony along with the United Nations Environment Program. On World’s Environmental Day, PM officials arranged this meeting. Furthermore, the objective of this ceremony was to create awareness among people about tree planting.
For this event, they decorated the Islamabad Convention center nicely with artificial plants and green lights to promote tree planting.
While standing before the huge projector which shows the Instagram-worthy landscape pictures, Prime Minister says, “we have to think about the outcomes of misusing and wasting the natural resources. Moreover, we have to take care of the land we walk on”.
By Planting More Trees, Pakistan Can Overcome Environmental Problems:
Imran Khan is confident that Pakistan will surely control all the environmental hardships by the Proper River cleansing and tree planting. In this matter, the PM says that many countries are very conscious about the planting as well as maintenance of their natural resources. On the contrary, some countries are not serious about this issue. Unfortunately, Pakistan is one of them. “This is the time to bring positive changes in the country,” Imran Khan stated.
“A few years back, Lahore was labeled as the City of Greenery. Now, it is included in the list of the most polluted cities of Pakistan. Moreover, our forest begins to disappear. There is no one who thinks about the importance of these forests for our upcoming generations”. The PM continued.
In KPK, our government has planted about one million trees. Furthermore, the countrywide figures show that the previous governments have planted only 640 million trees across the country since 2013 till now.
Conclusion:
Prime Minister Imran Khan stressed tree planting. In this regard, he says, “the government of Pakistan is going to create a ten Billion Tree Tsunami Program. Moreover, to make people more responsible about tree planting, PM announces giving green jobs to the jobless masses. Also, women are creating nurseries in the mountains to promote greenery.
