KARACHI – The Sindh government has decided to arrest unvaccinated people in the province after new directives were issued by the (NCOC) National Command and Operation Center to speed up the COVID vaccine in the country.

Travelers on motorways would require to get vaccinated:

According to a statement issued by the Sindh home affairs department, due to the new directives issued by the NCOC, travelers will be required to be vaccinated on September 20. The hotel and restaurants will be closed due to uninvited staff, including those involved in-home delivery. Furthermore, Unvaccinated passengers will not be able to access train services from now on.

Second-dose of coronavirus vaccines.

Sindh vaccinated more than 10 million citizens. The Sindh Department of Health has revealed that more than 10 million citizens have been given the Covid-19 vaccine in Karachi and other parts of the province.

Pakistan has provided the first vaccine to 54,436,916 residents, while 23,966,026 people have been completely vaccinated.

In the previous 24 hours, 491,572 people were given the first shot of the vaccine, while 380 236 were completely vaccinated. A total of 829,030 doses were made in the past day. The novel coronavirus killed 71 lives in Pakistan in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll across the country to 27,206.

The positivity rate of infections:

The positivity rate of infections was recorded at 4.68 percent, the NCOC said, adding the number of Covid-19 patients in critical care in the country stands at 4,964. According to the NCOC, as many as 55,027 samples were tested, 2,580 turned out to be positive for the coronavirus. The country’s tally of infections rose to 1,223,841 after 2,580 new cases were reported.
