Sindh Minister for Education Saeed Ghani on Saturday said that the province has chosen to force a time limitation like lockdown in the area in the middle of rising coronavirus samples.

Revealing details of the choices taken during the provincial team meeting led by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, the education minister said the team has prescribed to force strict limitations during the lockdown.

“In the event that we need to save lives, we need to move towards embracing a serious lockdown,” he said including that in spite of the fact that it would not be a curfew yet the limitations in it would be much the same as a curfew.

He said that they don’t need to choose over the lockdown keeping in see the choices taken by different provinces.

The prime minister could save the business however we have chosen to save lives, Saeed Ghani said including that they have sealed two areas in Malir and more areas of the district east would be sealed soon.

Prior in the day, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 104 new cases of coronavirus came in the region during the previous 24 hours.

CM Murad Ali Shah said that 531 new tests were directed today and 104 of them went to be sure.

Communicating his worries over the sharp spike in the cases of COVID-19, he stated, the number shows that 20 percent of COVID-19 test directed in the previous 24 hours came out positive.

This is more prominent than the world normal right now, CM Murad said and included that six individuals were died of the infection today.

He stated, up until now, 12,209 tests have been led for the COVID-19 and 1214 of them went to be positive.

The chief minister said that 371 of the analyzed patients recovered and released from the hospitals. CM Murad said that lockdown is the main alternative to predict the spread of coronavirus.
