With the launch of the Y15C, Vivo is pursuing its vision to cater to the youth with ‘feature-rich smartphones’ and provide meaningful innovation at various price points. Design and Display:
Vivo Y15C presents the display as a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720p (1600 x 720px) and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The back has a glossy textured finish, and the front has a notch for the selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the power button, and the phone’s chassis is made of plastic.
Dazzling colors:
The Vivo Y15C comes in two vibrant hues: Mystic Blue and Wave Green. However Mystic Blue is between a deep shade of blue and mysterious black wonder. It is an original style that exudes calm and understated elegance. Moreover, the Wave Green color dips into a mix of silver, white, green, and blue. It was inspired by the tropical ocean that brings the pure joy of a carefree beach vacation.
Side Fingerprint Sensor:
Vivo’s side fingerprint design integrates the fingerprint sensor with the power button to simultaneously turn on and unlock the smartphone. This design makes the Y15C look sleek and elegant, while user interaction is almost effortless. Camera:
The camera setup includes a 13MP primary shooter with a wide-angle lens that only supports standard autofocus. The secondary camera on the back is a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. This camera setting is limited to 1080p video recording at 30 FPS. However the selfie camera housed in the waterdrop notch is an 8MP wide-angle camera capable of recording 1080p video.
Battery and prices
The 5,000 mAh battery charges via a micro USB port and lacks fast charging. Vivo Y15C will be available in Wave Green and Mystic Blue color variants for Rs. 31,999. It should be available on Daraz and other online retail sites soon.
