Vivo has just announced a new budget 5G phone named the Y30 5G. However, the phone has only arrived in Thailand so far, but it should also be available in other markets. The smartphone has an HD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek processor. The smartphone runs on Android 12 and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery.

Design and Display
The phone has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD, a water notch for the selfie camera, and a thick bottom bezel. However, its screen is a 60Hz 720p panel with face support unlock via the selfie camera. In the phone, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the power button.
Internals and Storage
Internal hardware includes a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 6GB of virtual expandable RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. You get the Vivo Funtouch OS 12 skin for software over Android 12.
The selfie camera is a wide-angle 8MP lens that can record 1080p 30 FPS clips. This camera can record videos up to 1080p at 30 FPS. The phone has only two cameras on the back, including a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera for the bokeh effect. Moreover, The camera is equipped with a Super Night mode for clicking pictures in low-light environments. It also gets dual-view video, allowing users to record front and rear cameras. It also supports picture-in-picture mode. Other camera features include auto eye focus, multi-style portrait, face beauty, panorama mode, live photo, slow motion, and time-lapse. Users can also scan documents using the Vivo Y30 5G. On the front, the phone features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Battery and Pricing
Vivo Y30 5G is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging. However, the Vivo Y30 5G costs $240 in Thailand, but the price may vary once it arrives in other regions.
