Previous Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi on Thursday said if Prime Minister Imran Khan considers the new domestic cricket structure a decent alternative for the improvement of the game in the nation than it would be a better one to accept.

The previous Pakistan captain said that each process requires some serious time and it takes a few years for any newly introduced system to come to fulfillment.

The veteran cricketer said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not reached him. No post has been offered to me yet.

He stated, our success is in playing forceful cricket, including that the performance of the group would not improve until and except if we get rid of the dependency for playing defensively.

Tending to a Signing of Agreements Ceremony between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the national telecaster Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), in Islamabad, the PM had stated: “I have been an observer to the way that we have consistently had huge ability and even with a faulty system, our talent figured out how to stand apart universally.”

He included, Pakistan can become unstoppable if we figure out how to repair and improve our mishandled system.

The PM said that each newly introduced system faces issues, yet the domestic structure is as important as it will open doors of chance for the youthful and talented.

He also stated, there are two important things needed so as to stand out in the game, the first is to present sound health competitions and secondly to welcome individuals on merit.
