Prime minister Imran Khan on Monday shared the master strategy of his dream knowledge city at the Namal University.
PM Imran Khan had projected the first phase of the knowledge city launch to be set up at the Namal University, which is situated in Mianwali.
He said knowledge plays an important part in the improvement of a nation and society.
The knowledge city is required to include academic blocks, libraries, technology parks, business centers, dairy farms, primary and secondary schools, sports, a hospital, shopping malls, and hotels settlement for staff, faculty and students.
Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan has designated singer and entertainer Ali Zafar as ambassador to the Namal Knowledge City.
The first stage would be finished by 2023 to adjust 800 students and 50 faculty members, though the major development work on the city is relied upon to be finished by 2027.
The PM Imran Khan stated that after completion of first stage, more than 10,000 students from denied regions would profit by the Knowledge City.
He likewise communicated his desire to change the institute into a globally renowned center of greatness.
