The officers were found guilty and have been given “rigorous” imprisonment to the two of them of 2 years.
The information was given by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an Army media stating on Friday that the officers leaked private information of Pakistan Army to Foreign Agencies and were indulged in illegal activities.
The Names of the officers have not been disclosed yet.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa got a three-year extension as Pakistan’s chief of Army Staff on Monday.
“Pakistan Army, alive to its institutional accountability system has dismissed the officer from service and sent him to jail for life”, said by General Bajwa with no further information added.
ISPR stated: “The officers were tried under Pakistan Army Act (PAA) and Official Secret Act by separate Field General Court Martial (FGCM) for separate cases”.
