Pakistan Team’s Departure: The Pakistan cricket team embarked on their journey to India for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Departure Details:

The national team’s journey began at 3:20 a.m. when they departed from Lahore airport. They made a brief stopover in Dubai before continuing their flight to Indian Hyderabad.

Arrival Schedule:

The team is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad at 8:15 p.m. (local time) on September 27.

Team Composition:

Pakistan’s travel contingent comprises 18 players and 13-player support personnel.

Coaching Staff Joining:

Bowling coach Morne Morkel and men’s cricket team director Mickey Arthur will join the team in Dubai and India, respectively.

Training and Warm-Up Matches:

The team will participate in a training session on the following day and is set to play their first warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29.

Visa Issue Resolved:

India issued visas to the Pakistan team on Monday, ending the uncertainty surrounding their participation in the World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had previously complained to the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the visa delay affecting the team’s preparation.

World Cup Schedule:

Pakistan is scheduled to play two warm-up matches before starting their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6.

India-Pakistan Clash:

One of the most anticipated tournament clashes is between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, scheduled for October 14 in Ahmedabad.
