Sindh Government Has Declared Relaxation Regarding Covid-19 restrictions:

From 7th June 2021, Sindh Government decides to reduce the restrictions regarding coronavirus. For the past 15 days, the government of Sindh has implemented strict restrictions on people. Moreover, the markets and shopping centers were closing at 6 pm sharp. Now, Government has announced to open the markets till 8 pm. In this regard, Murtaza Wahab Tweeted:

While addressing the meeting of the Sindh Coronavirus Taskforce, Murad Ali Shah, who is the Chief Minister of Sindh, took this decision. Additionally, other members including the health minister of Sindh, Dr. Azra Pechuho, Saed Ghani, Education Minister, Murtaza Wahab (Senator), Nasir Shah, Police high-ups, and other members of WHO attended the meeting.

In addition, other government essentials were also present. While addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister revealed the figures showing the positivity rate of Covid-19. According to the reports, the ratio of covid-positive patients was 8.5% on 1st June. While, Karachi witnesses about 12.45% of positive cases.

Opening/Closing of Shopping Centers & Markets:

During the meeting, the Sindh government decided to permit the shopping centers and markets to remain active till 8 pm. Additionally, all the retailers and shopkeepers are strictly ordered to vaccinate themselves against Covid-19.

Moreover, to make sure that all the shopkeepers have taken the vaccination dose, the government will randomly check their vaccination certificates.

Opening/Closing of Restaurants, Beaches, Marriage Halls & Educational Institutes:

Interestingly, the outdoor dine-in will be open in Sindh from 7th June. They will remain open till 12 am. However, the restaurant’s management has to make sure that people will sit at an adequate distance.

The Sindh government also decided to re-open the sea sides. Moreover, the Marriage halls will be allowed to resume for 14 days. Talking about the educational institutes, classes 9th and above will open from 7th June. In this case, Senator Saeed Ghani Tweeted:

Conclusion:

The Sindh Government has opened all the recreational areas, shopping centers as well as educational institutions. However, it is compulsory for all people including teachers, students, retailers, buyers, and everyone else to take vaccination and follow the SOPs if they don’t want another lockdown in Karachi.
