Sindh’s healing rate for coronavirus patients increase 50.1% on Thursday after 764 patients healed and ‘came back to their ordinary life’, an announcement by the Chief Minister House said.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in the announcement, said that the province registered 20 additional deaths and 1,667 new coronavirus diseases over the most recent 24 hours, raising the loss of life to 575 and inclusive cases to 34,577.

He said that the provincial death rate remained at 1.7%, while “366 patients are in serious condition, of which 66 have been put on ventilators”.

CM said, 16,179 patients are under treatment, of them 14,910 are in home isolation, 99 isolation centers, and 1,170 are in various emergency clinics.

Concurrently, discussing the infection in Karachi he said that from the 1,311 new cases, 312 were recognized in region East, 271 in Korangi, 257 in South, 241 in West, 143 in Central, and 87 in Malir.

The provincial chief giving details of the cases in different cities of the territory said that Hyderabad has recorded 42 cases in the previous 24 hours, Ghotki 38, Kashmore 32, Khairpur 25, Sukkur 24, Larkana 22, Shaheed Benazirabad 21, Dadu and Sujawal 11 cases each, Shikarpur 10, Badin 8, Jamshoro 7, Sanghar 5, Jacobabad, Kambar, Umerkot, and Tando Mohammad Khan have three cases each, and Thatta, Mirpurkhas, and Matiari have recorded one case each.

CM Shah stated, individuals of Sindh to be cautious and take up preventative steps to control the coronavirus outbreak.
