Federal government’s choice to end the countrywide lockdown in stages beginning Saturday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reported on Friday that the province will relieve the lockdown from Monday.

The chief minister said there will be a “100% lockdown” on Saturdays and Sundays. He said businesses identified with the constructions segment will work according to the SOPs.

The Sindh CM clarified shops will remain open from Fajr ‘early morning’ till 5pm and selected outpatient departments ‘OPDs’ in hospitals will likewise open. He said the provincial government has just agreed 660 industrial services to continue procedure on the Center’s guidance.

He said neighborhood shops, with the exception of malls and departmental stores, will be agreed to work together.

CM Murad said the Center and the provincial government are cooperating regardless of certain dissimilarities.

He explained Sindh government isn’t working in isolation yet with the government. He included the government didn’t like for certain means which the provincial government proposed while the latter didn’t accept with certain recommendations set forth by the former.

The CM said, 598 new cases were accounted for in the province in the course of recent hours with five additional deaths.
