Prime Minister Imran Khan, alongside UAE Ambassador HE Hamad Alzabi and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, launched Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road. The road was built with funding from the United Arab Emirates Pakistan Assistance Program (UAE-PAP).

Prime minister Imran Khan stated, the task in Mohmand is a blessing to the individuals of the area worked as a team with the UAE Government.

On this event, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave a briefing on Nahaqai Tunnel, Sheik Zayed Road.

PM Imran Khan said that the task would encourage countless individuals and give transportation, trade and business chances to the individuals of Mohmand. It will give them with easy access to the provincial capital Peshawar and other significant districts.

In a statement, “The UAE supported Pakistan’s development in the war-attacked zones.”

UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi; COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa; Federal Minster for Communication Murad Saeed; Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadari and other officials were also present on the occasion.
