Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the legislature is good to go to project the nation’s first over-the-top (OTT) TV, the Pakistan form of Netflix.
Over the Top facility (OTT) is a wide term and could be utilized to describe various ‘over the top’ and free services. Although, in the lingo of media and content, OTT typically refers to content-stages that give film and video content over the fastest Internet.
Government Minister included that the innovation part is finished and have asked Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to set up a rule on content and we will be good to go to project in PPP (public private partnership) mode. He included that, it will be simply one more amazing commitment.
