CM Murad Ali said that the provincial govt launched 24 projects worth Rs802.39 billion in the city.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Thursday said that the provincial government has projected 24 projects worth Rs 802.39 billion in the city, and he needed the federal government to match the sum in an offer to change Karachi in genuine letter and soul.

The Chief Minister said that if these projects finalized, Karachi would be changed into an advanced city.

The projects under the improvement plan, add settling the water supply issues, treating sewerage water, solid waste administration, clearing water from nullahs/temporary capacity and dewatering service, building and repainting of streets, and mass travel projects, including the Karachi Circular Railway.

He said, if the government expanded financial assistance freely we will have the option to change the living, life, and services in the city at standard with other created cities.

Chief Minister said that the appointment of Karachi Municipal Corporation’s administrator and administrators of other local bodies was the position and power of the provincial government.

In any case, CM said that the province was discussing with everybody and that the administrators would be selected soon.

CM Shah said that the administrators of the local bodies that will be appointed soon would deliver.
