Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday landed in Tehran as a major aspect of Pakistan’s political endeavors to quiet strains in the Middle East.

The FM is paying this visit on the unique orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

FM Qureshi is booked to meet his Iranian partner Javad Zarif in Tehran to trade sees on the overall circumstance in the district. He will at that point head to Riyadh on Jan 13 tomorrow to hold converses with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud on the issues of territorial harmony and steadiness.

A representative for the Foreign Office in an announcement on Jan 11 had said Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the mandate of PM Imran Khan will visit Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States to enable de-escalate strain in the district.
