The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said in an announcement on Monday that the application has been unbanned in the nation.

Chinese-claimed video-sharing application TikTok has been unblocked in Pakistan after it guaranteed the authorities it would block all accounts over and again involved with spreading vulgarity and immorality.

The organization’s representative said in an announcement, we are satisfied to see that the TikTok application has been unbanned in Pakistan.

We respect the PTA’s promise to continuous productive dialogue and identify their consideration for the digital experience of Pakistani users. At TikTok, we’re focused on implementing our Community Guidelines and following local laws in all business sectors in which we work, as these are pillars of our work to promote a secure and positive community online.

As indicated by a prior report, the dedication by the organization was made in a gathering with PTA authorities, after which the controller unblocked the application.

As indicated by a TikTok representative, the video-sharing application continued drawing in with the PTA to show its responsibility to comply with local laws and further improve its content balance limit.

The representative had said that TikTok had made deliberate efforts to address questions from the Pakistani government around their content balance process.
