Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri on Tuesday reproved the bits of gossip coursing via social media with respect to restriction on Hajj this year in the midst of coronavirus occurrence.

Reacting to the bits of gossip in a post on his Twitter account, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that there was no fact in reports with respect to restriction on Hajj in 2020.

The Hajj arrangements are going on as regular and we are in nonstop contact with the Saudi Hajj and Umrah service,” he said.

The federal government said that there was no directives from the Saudi authorities to stop plans for Hajj. He said, the Saudi government will talk with top Muslim nations before taking any such choice.

He said that the Saudi ministry just commanded that they defer transport, hotel and building appointments and it is untimely to state anything on Hajj 2020.

Qadri trusted that by the finesse of Almighty Allah, the circumstance would improve as the Hajj approaches. He further requested that the majority follow the official social pages of the religious affairs service for 100% authentic reports.

It is appropriate to make reference to here that Saudi Arabia suspended on Friday every single residential flight, transports, cabs and prepares for 14 days beginning Saturday.

The move comes as a careful step to restrain the spread of coronavirus which has spread quickly in worldwide markets and put a few nations on virtual lockdowns.
