A couple of months back, JUI-F had announced that they would record a huge sit-in protest by the 27th of October, 2019. True to their word, they started their rallies from Karachi, and went all the way to Islamabad but after weeks they finally backed-off.

Up till now, nobody can clearly state what their exact purpose was. They’d sometimes claim to be the voice of the poor against inflation, other times criticise the whole system for being rigged, sometimes call out (without explicitly naming) state institutions as being “villainous”, and often even play the religious card. The last one, being their ultimate trump card. In a country like Pakistan, people are quite sensitive about religion. Hence, for these so called “molvis” it’s easier to manipulate people to do their bidding in the name of religion.

According to BBC report Women absent from anti-Imran Khan protest

They went to Islamabad with one agenda in mind. The resignation of the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan. There have been negotiations between the government and the protesters. However, the protesters were reluctant about the resignation being their one non-negotiable demand.

JUI-F had announced that they would record a huge sit-in but after failed of Azadi march they backed-off.

The more sensible and much powerful political parties, PPP and PML(N), had already left their support of JUI-F’s demands. And today, just a few days after that, the foolish charade had to come to a sudden end, to lessen the amount of humiliation for returning empty-handed with their “Plan A” against the Prime Minister.

In the end, the beloved PM, Mr. Imran Khan, once again emerges victorious.
