Elon Musk’s Starlink, a satellite broadband internet service, is finally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

Elon Musk’s famous satellite broadband provider Starlink has reportedly registered to operate and provide internet services in Pakistan. According to details, SpaceX Global Director Ryan Goodnight and Syed Aminul Haq, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Communications and Information Technology, met to discuss Starlink broadband internet registration in Pakistan.

Fastest and Cheapest satellite internet services:

Taking to Twitter, the federal minister and Telecommunication, Syed Aminul Haq, said that Starlink’s internet services will significantly reduce operational costs of telecom operators in Pakistan. Even inactive mobile towers in remote areas can be activated cheaply. Moreover, “Our main purpose is to provide broadband services to every corner of Pakistan at affordable rates,” he added.

Starlink Service in Pakistan:

Ryan Goodnight thanked the minister for cooperating and congratulated Pakistan on its  IT and telecommunication sector’s progress. “The fundamental steps have been taken, and we are now ready to act quickly,” added Ryan. Successful implementation of Starlink  service in Pakistan could be a major step towards Connected Pakistan’s goal. This development could reorganize Pakistan’s telecommunications industry by providing faster and more low-cost internet services, even in remote areas.
