PIA Carries 1.55 Million doses of Sinovac Vaccine to Pakistan:
“China sends Sinovac vaccine to Pakistan on Sunday through PIA”. The National Command operation center (NCOC) started on Sunday. Moreover, China sends the Sinovac to Pakistan. Because the country is facing a shortage of coronavirus vaccination doses.
Furthermore, NCOC says, “according to the contract, the government plans this addition of the vaccines and China agreed upon sending the vaccine doses when required”. Also, the Government has started to supply the vaccines to all the vaccination centers where there is a shortage.
Government to purchase another 2-3 million Chinese Vaccines:
NCOC further says that the federal government is planning to purchase about two to three million doses of vaccines against Coronavirus in the upcoming week. In addition, China will continue to supply the vaccines until all the public of Pakistan takes the doses.
“China always helped Pakistan in difficult situations. Pakistan and China share a strong mutual bond. China does everything to make sure that Pakistan receives the vaccination doses and the process of vaccination will continue” NCOC stated.
China supports Pakistan In the difficult times when Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad reports the shortage of Sinovac. Due to the scarcity, all the vaccination centers in Sindh began to shut down. Similarly, except for three, the remaining centers of Lahore were also closed.
In this regard, Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh says that 225 vaccination centers have closed. Whereas, about 60 private hospitals continue to administer the vaccinations.
Conclusion:
Doctor Faisal Sultan, special assistance to the Prime Minister says that the issue of the shortage of vaccines will be resolved by Monday or Tuesday. Moreover, he says that about one million vaccination doses are available in the country.
In this case, the leader of NCOC, Asad Umar says that the people took about 332,877 vaccination doses according to last week’s reports. About 1.5 million doses of Sinovac have arrived today and about 5 million doses will arrive next week.
