Shahbaz Sharif removed Rameez Raja from the post of PCB Chairman.

Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif dismissed Rameez Raja as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman. This news was released today while confusion and rumors surrounding Ramiz Raja’s side have been widely spread in the news for weeks. However, the reason for his dismissal was the poor performance of the Pakistan cricket team, which lost to Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2022 and lost a home series to England for the first time in history. Moreover, sources said that former chairman Najam Sethi, who was behind the hard work of the Pakistan Super League, was reappointed by Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif.

Rameez Raja removed from the PCB chairman:

The decision to remove Rameez Raja from the post of PCB Chairman was finalized today, and Najam Sethi was appointed as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Today, the changes on the above page will be informed to the board of directors. The Prime Minister’s Office is expected to announce four new appointments today. According to one of these announcements, the 2019 cricket board lineup will be canceled. The second notice also removes the names of two other persons named as the Pakistan Cricket Board president. The purpose of the third declaration is to restore the Pakistan Cricket Board’s constitution in 2014. A final warning then informs the center to make new changes to the functionality of the existing board.

A 14-member management committee:

Najam Sethi took the new 14-member Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday after the government removed Ramiz Raja as chairman and reappointed a political analyst who had widely believed he would step down. Sethi tweeted that thousands of cricketers will be re-hired and “cricket famine will end.” the government also repealed the Constitution of Cricket’s Supreme Governing Body and restored it to its position in 2014, intending to bring regional divisions back into domestic cricket.

Najam Sethi:

Sethi was the PCB chairman from 2013 to 2018 but was replaced by Ehsan Mani after former cricketer Imran Khan became prime minister following a legal tussle with former cricketer Zaka Ashraf.
