PM Imran Khan addressed the ceremony where he introduced the Sehat card scheme. He said Pakistan was the only country globally launching a unique program to provide free health facilities to its citizens. The premier said health issues were causing economic problems for the people and our vision for the program was to at least relieve them of financial hardship when they were ill. Moreover, he said that if the people were in control of their country, only then did the State achieve the national security goal, but if the people were deprived of their basic needs, how would they think of the nation and the interests of the country.
