Scholarships will be awarded to the students based on merit & finance
According to the news, the students of public sectors get scholarships on merit-cum-need basis. Identically, “the students of Bachelors, Masters, M.Phil. and Ph.D. will be given the scholarship”. A statement comes from the CM residence.
Comparatively, the MS, MPhil, and Ph.D. students of the private sectors will get their scholarships in the ongoing year. The working has already started in the universities. The data collection process has begun.
Establishment of Labs and Smart Classes in Universities of Rural Sides
For the establishment of Information Technology Laboratories, the Chief Minister is distributing the cheques of 25 Million in 5 universities of Pakistan’s rural areas. The universities include:
- Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur
- Begum Nusrat Bhutto University, Sukkur
- Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Skill Development & Technology, Khairpur
- Government College University (GCU) in Hyderabad and
- Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Karachi
Moreover, the Sindh HEC is taking steps to build intelligent classrooms in all public and private universities. So, the Higher Education Commission has approved to provide funds to the seven newly established public universities.

As online education and E-learning is the basic need of time. For CM, it was a unique idea to educate the youth through online educational programs. Therefore, the establishment of smart classes has become the primary need of universities.
