At 7:40 a.m. Pakistan time, Samina Baig climbed a mighty K2. She became the first Pakistani woman to climb K2 at high speed along with her team members. Within three hours of the summit, Naila Kiani reached the summit and finished second. However, other Pakistani women have never achieved this feat.

Other climbers from different countries peaked on Friday morning, including female climbers from Oman, Lebanon, Iran, and Taiwan. However, the summit push started late last night when the rope fixing team finished, and the first group reached K2 around 3 a.m. A team of 31-year-old Pakistani climber Samina Baig confirmed that she got to the summit with other Pakistani climbers at 7:42 a.m. on Friday.
