Initiating Crackdown:

Today, 17th January 2021, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) initiated the restriction of illegal use of gas compressors. According to the spokesperson of SSGC, the connection and the use of gas compressors is illegal and the Balochistan High Court has now ordered to act against those who are involved in this act.

Low pressure of Sui Gas:

Gas Compressors used all over Pakistan because it helps to suck in more gas and increase the gas flow in case of extensive shortage of gas. As per the reports, all over Pakistan gas compressors used by many people.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) officials have stated that the overall low pressure of the gas is mainly due to these illegally installed gas compressors.

Special Teams against this illegal Act:

Due to illegally installed and use of gas compressors, several cities all over Pakistan is facing the gas shortage problem. For this sole reason, many special teams have been established in the gas companies. These special teams will initiate the crackdown and locate the areas and homes where these are being illegally used.

The usage of these gas compressors is not only illegal but you are also depriving your neighbors of the gas facility.

Usage of Fridge Compressors is Illegal:

To suck in more gas and increase gas flow at homes, several patrons used Fridge compressors, which is not only illegal but dangerous for their lives.

Since the winter season has come, all the domestic and industrial consumers all over Pakistan are facing an extensive shortage of gas.

CNG Stations being closed and buying LNG:

Due to the non-availability of gas, several CNG stations are being closed in Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber PK.

Consumers having no choice are bound to buy liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to keep themselves and the home warm in these harsh winter seasons.
