In a significant development, Interior Minister Rana Sana ullah has announced the successful launch of a user-friendly passport system that meets international standards. This new system aims to streamline the passport application and issuance process, providing convenience and efficiency to citizens seeking to obtain or renew their passports. New process and its start:

The new document system ensures secure travel and facilitates visa-free travel for citizens. However, At the inauguration ceremony held at the Directorate General of Immigration and Passport (DGI&P) Headquarters, the minister highlighted the introduction of e-passports, an online passport renewal system, and passport processing counters. However, these efforts aim to empower citizens, simplify travel, and help the country’s development. He also emphasized efforts to strengthen partnerships with other countries to increase facilities. As part of this effort, 30 passport processing counters will be set up at NADRA offices to serve areas where dedicated passport offices are unavailable.

  • The arrival of Applicant at the Customer Service Counter.
  • Fee Verification + Capturing of Photograph + Token Issuance.
  • Biometrics / Finger Prints capture.
  • Data Entry.
  • Verification as per Office Record. ( ECL/BL)
  • Interview and Decision by Assistant Director.
  • Passport Delivery (Collection of Passport)
