The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) launched the Rahbar app to help residents across Pakistan. As a matter of fact, the Rahbar Cell app would allow citizens to locate the nearest NADRA service center and much more with a few simple clicks on their mobile phones.
How does the Rahbar app help citizens:
NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik said that residents of Pakistan could know that NADRA facilities are more convenient for them. The NADRA Guide app helps residents make an informed decision about visiting a NADRA center by knowing the location, distance, number of pending applicants, and average processing time via mobile. The app will be available on Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Transparency and Accountability:
The NADRA Rahbar app provides convenience and automated facilitation to the public while increasing connectivity between NADRA services and society. According to the chairman, such measures towards Digital Pakistan aim to make the NADRA office a citizen service center, not just a registration center. Moreover, Chairman Tariq Malik said that with Nadra’s services to the general public, officials become transparent and accountable to the people of Pakistan, which shows the true embodiment of Digital Pakistan and e-Government.
What does the Rahbar App offer:
The NADRA Rahbar app provides people with much-needed real-time information like the number of people in the queue, processing time, and location of the NADRA registration site, allowing them to plan their visits accordingly. In addition, this program displays offices in the form of a list and map. However, the map also shows the location of the nearest mobile registration van and registration office, making it easy for users to reach any NADRA center. The guide app also has criteria for categorizing centers such as women-only centers, 24-hour NADRA centers, NADRA standards, and executive facilities.
The Auto-update option:
Rahbar mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store for easy access anywhere in Pakistan. Additionally, the app has an auto-update option that runs every 3 minutes to keep residents updated. The mobile application also has a search engine that allows users to search for NADRA offices by city, name, or location. The best thing is that the NADRA Rahbar app is available in Urdu and English.
