On Friday, at an event in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan’s economic growth is increasing and the year 2021 will be year of economic growth as the country with essential industries and increasing output is moving towards the right direction.
According to the Prime Minister, Pakistan’s cement sales has increased in the past year which makes it evident that the country’s economy is going up.
He stated “When cement sales are increasing it is a clear sign that construction activity is on the rise” and “textile industry has been producing at such capacity for the first in many years” This has given rise to increase demand of labour.
Prime Minister Imran khan said the government is making business friendly policies. Pakistan’s Industrial area was always neglected. PM Imran khan said that the wealth generated by industrial growth will help to take away poverty in our country.
“Our exports are increasing as compared to our competitors, so Pakistan is headed in the right direction”
Two Targets of 2021:
Expanding the universal health coverage of the country and introducing a new program to combat hunger will be the two targets for the new year as according to PM Imran.
Universal Health Coverage:
PM Imran Khan said that he believes to improve the health coverage of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan at the end of this Year, by ensuring each household medical treatment through health insurance card.
PM added that under the Government’s Ehsaas initiative “KOI BHUKA NA SOYAY” no one will sleeps hungry in this country. Information technology will be used to identify areas and poverty will be deal, involving the whole country.
COVID 19 Pandemic:
Prime Minister Imran khan said this year was very tough for everyone due to COVID-19, but Pakistan address it far better than others in the world
PM Imran Khan said that China is Pakistan’s ally and Pakistan will take their help not only in industrial growth but also in agriculture sector. For that matter Chinees seeds are be imported for development and increased productivity.
