PM pursues help from Pak Army to regulate the Covid-19 SOPs. In the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting, the government of Pakistan decided not to impose a complete lockdown in the entire state. However, the government implements some additional restrictions in the upcoming days. PM Imran Khan asked people to follow the coronavirus SOPs strictly in the NCC meeting. Additionally, while addressing the meeting in Islamabad, PM pursues help from the Pak army to take strict notice against the folks who show careless behavior in following SOPs guidelines.
PM Pursues Help from Military forces to Tackle Covid-19:
Imran Khan advises people to follow the Sops to prevent complete lockdown in the country. Regarding the current scenario, PM updates the covid restrictions as the country is facing the third wave of Covid-19. Premier intends to impose the complete lockdown in the areas where the positivity ratio is more than 10%. For now, the government decides not to impose a complete lockdown in the country as lockdown affects the business and working classes.
Furthermore, the PM affirms the requirement to wear face masks all the time while socializing. If the public doesn’t take these SOPs guidelines seriously, PM requests Pak Army to enforce Covid-SOPs. Lastly, the Prime Minister says that our situation would be similar to India in the upcoming days if we could not control the rising cases.
Restrictions Imposed throughout the country in NCC Meeting:
After eyeing the adverse effects of the third wave of Corona, PM khan implements some restrictions. Under the statement, all markets will close by 6 pm. The only important business will stay up after 6 pm. The ministry bans outdoor and indoor dine-in till Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the take away is allowed, Gyms are closed and Shopping for Eid is to be done before 6 pm. Work from home facilities is provided for people.
Closing Thoughts:
The federal ministers, chief ministers, and other significant members attended the NNC meeting. The PM decides to cease the commercial activities of the majority of offices due to the worse effects of Covid, Minister says that this is the last chance for people to put these SOPs into consideration, he apologized that both people and administration are showing very careless behavior regarding this issue. He says that if this issue could not be handled properly, the entire country will face the disastrous situation
