In a move to give money related help to the individuals influenced by the coronavirus lockdown, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday declared that 12 million families will begin getting Rs12,000 every month from tomorrow ‘Thursday’.

Tending to a joint press conference session in Islamabad, PM Imran said that the cash will be given simply to the deserving families under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, including that around 17,000 points have been set up the nation over for the money issuance.

He kept up that the way toward granting money worth 144 billion rupees to 12 million deserving families will be completed in next two and half weeks.

PM Imran asked the individuals to believe gravity of the Coronavirus circumstance and show obligation by receiving all vital wise steps to control the infection.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar said the legislature has gotten over 30.5 million SMS on 8171 for budgetary help under Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program.

She said more than 12 million deserving families will be granted 12,000 rupees each after biometric check.

NDMA Chairman Lt General Muhammad Afzal said that individual protective appliance will be facilitated to every single provincial hospitals during the following three days.

The NDMA Chairman said 100,000 testing packs will show up in Pakistan this evening out of which 35000 packs will be given to Sindh, 15000 to Balochistan, while 25000 each will be given to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
