The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) banned former PM and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s live speeches on all satellite TV channels after he issued serious threats to state institutions and government officials. PEMRA issued a six-page notice stating that Imran Khan has persistently made baseless allegations and spread hatred in his speeches and statements against national institutions.
