The highly awaited event in Pakistan is nowhere. A complete schedule of the matches of PSL 2021 has been confirmed officially. On 20th February 2021, the PSL 6 matches will begin with Karachi Kings playing at National Stadium.

2020 and 2019 PSL Champions:

 In 2020, Karachi King successfully became Pakistan Super League champions against the second runner-up team Lahore Qalandars. The Year before that, in 2019 the PSL trophy was won by Quetta Gladiators.

Schedule of PSL 2021:

PSL 6 will start with Karachi Kings on 20th February at National Stadium against the 2019 PSL winners Quetta Gladiators. The day after that the match between Lahore Qalandars and PSL 2017 winners Peshawar Zalmi will take place. In the evening of the same day, the two timers PSL winners Islamabad United will play against Multan Sultans.

PSL 6 consists of 34 tournaments in 30 days with the last match of PSL 6 will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 22nd March. Since 2017, this venue will be the first time where the finals will be played.

Day Matches -start 2 pm

Night matches- 7 pm

Friday’s doubleheaders- start at 3 pm and 8 pm

Safeguard of PSL 6 during COVID-19 Pandemic:

According to PCB, all the matches of PSL 6 will take place in Karachi and Lahore only, to ensure the health and safety of all the participants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first half of the matches will be played at National Stadium, Karachi, while the second half of the competition in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. 

Organizers have yet to decide about the crowd situation with the concerned government officials, while it is ensured that each side is playing an equal number of day and evening matches. Optimum use of weekends is carried out to ensure maximum following and coverage.

Support Period and Foreign Players arrival:

On 15th February, the support period of PSL 6 will commence. Foreign players will arrive at Karachi with a negative PCR test and upon arrival two more negative PCR tests before playing the matches.

In the case of the positive test, asymptomatic players and staff will follow a 5 days isolation period with PCR test on day 1 and day 4.
