The images of Pakistan’s first Mercedes-Benz EQE standing at a port awaiting customs clearance have a buzz on social media. However, the EQE is an all-electric full-size luxury sedan that competes with the Audi e-Tron GT, Porsche Taycan, and other high-end electric vehicles (EVs). The photo shows that the model imported to Pakistan is EQE 300+. It has a single electric motor that drives only the rear wheels. It produces 245 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. This engine accelerates the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
Appearance:
Visually, the EQE is very different from traditional luxury sedans. Sleek, rounded forms with subtle creases and a modern design with large front panels, modern headlights, striped LED taillights, large aluminum wheels, and a sloping roofline that blends seamlessly with the body.
Features:
The latest luxury EV, the EQE, features semi-autonomous driving, adjustable air suspension for a supple ride, multiple driving modes, a premium interior, an advanced infotainment system, Mercedes-Benz’s patented super display, and more. It is equipped with the latest features, such as convenience features.
All these features come at a whopping price of approximately £74,000 (roughly Rs. 20 lakh). Including tax, the EQE costs a lot more than that. Details of the Pakistani EQE 300 are currently unknown as it awaits clearance to leave port and be handed over to its owner.
Battery:
The Mercedes Benz EQE 300 is equipped with an 89 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of up to 550 km with WLTP approval. It also has a fast charging feature that can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 33 minutes.
