The government has declared to celebrate “Pakistan Martyrs Day” on May 25 2023—the day on which the sacrifices of martyrs for Pakistan will be reminded. Moreover, The govt of Pakistan has announced that May 25 will be observed as a Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan (Pakistan Martyrs’ Day) and declared it a public holiday as well.

The Government of Pakistan has declared a public holiday on May 25, a local news channel had claimed earlier in the day. However federal government has not announced a public holiday for May 25, 2023, due to fake announcements on social media declaring Thursday as Pakistan Martyrs’ Day.
